Overall Responsibilities:
The position is responsible for ensuring Helen Keller International’s best practices are upheld, including adherence to the code of conduct, policies and procedures, financial accountability and making sure official matters are kept confidential. Ensuring quality is a primary objective of Helen Keller International’s programming and monitoring and evaluation oversight is a requirement of all managers to achieve the best outcomes possible.As gender and social inclusion (GESI) is a cross-cutting and core component for Helen Keller International programs, all personnel are required to ensure GESI sensitivity and integration where they work.

Specific Roles and Responsibilities:
- Support policy and implementation
- Project Coordinator represents Transforming Lives through Nutrition project implemented by Helen Keller Intl and iDE at Province, District and Municipal level.
- The position holder should provide administrative support to the Project Manager and assist in the overall management of the project activities at the field level.
- Ensure all partners have a clear and achievable design integrating innovation and fully complying with Helen Keller international minimum standards.
- Ensure that partner NGOs follow sound planning processes, have high-performing teams with good performance management processes
- Focus on detailed quality and results, and have robust monitoring, and an excellent participatory methodology and stakeholder management approach.
- Maintain good relationships with province and local governments, partner institutions, and other key stakeholders.
- Help with program planning, scheduling, and documentation, ensuring that program activities are well-organized and executed.
- Monitors and supports partner NGOs in the implementation of project activities and the financial settlements as per Helen Keller policies.
- Facilitate communication among program stakeholders, including team members, partners, and external parties.
- Assists in preparing project reports, compilation and report to the country office.
- Communicate with implementing partner on implementation modality, quality and timely delivery of project activities.
- Coordinate with project team members and provide support as needed.
- Assure the Helen Keller policies are fully implemented by partners.
- Ensure internal and external visibility of the project and the organization.
- Supervise Field Officers and Driver and support them as needed.
- Monitor project progress and address potential issues proactively.
- Master’s degree in public health, nursing, nutrition or relevant field.
- Experiences and other competencies:
- Minimum 7 years of experience in coordinating with province, district level government stakeholders.
- Have experience in coordinating with district and municipal stakeholders for nutrition/health related activities.
- Have experience with NGO partner mobilization and community mobilization.
- Good Nepali and English communication skills (oral and written).
- Priority will be given to the person who has experience working in Lumbini Province.
- Experience using Excel, Word, and PowerPoint and other software.
- Willing and able to travel field.
